WOW has it really been ten years. I graduated from college in 2002 with an AS degree in Paralegal studies--unfortunately jobs were few and far between for paralegals in this area so I applied for a job with the County of Volusia (where I live) and have been there for over 3 years. I love it. I am am currently attending college again.

When I am done I will have my BS degree in Business Administration. I have just recently purchased my first home! I am having fun fixing it up and even though I will have 30 years of painful payments--it is MINE! FINALLY! I am still a single parent of two-Asja is now 15 (driving me to a heart attack--yes learning to drive at 15). She is going into 10th grade and is involved in the Agriculture program in High School-of course do I need to mention BOYS!! Drake has just turned 11 and is going to be in 5th grade--he is my math wiz--Mr. Gulick would be proud! Girls to him-well I have lost count how many 'girlfriends' he has!!!

I will most definitely be at the reunion unfortunately at the time of month it is scheduled my children will be staying at home (grandma will be stuck here with them!) as they will both be in school-its too bad the planners didn't know as they would of loved to come.

Now been a ER/Trauma nurse for about 10 years, and live on the western slope of Colorado in a little college/ski town. He managed a Pizza Hut in Lexington, Kentucky for several years before landing himself in New Zealand. He lives there with his wife Karen, daughter Jessamine Grace, and baby boy Eric Augustus. Frank is Sales Supervisor with Clear Communications in Christchurch, New Zealand. He still loves Bruce Springsteen, running, the smell of autumn leaves, and has a distaste for damp socks.

Frank in 2007:
For the last few years my wife, Karen, and I have called Colorado Springs our home. We have seven kids: Jessamine, Eric, April, Robert, Harrison, Kathryn and Ryan. Because seven kids is boring and uneventful, we also have a French Mastiff named Zhora, a cat named "E" (don't ask about A-D) and a Guinea Pig whose name I cannot recall at the moment. I look foward to the 20th reunion and sharing notes with everyone else who has made it out to Colorado.

Kristy in 2007:
I have been teaching English for four years here in Texas, north of Dallas. In fact, I am department chair and event coordinator (I plan field trips).
I am married (18 years) and have two children and two very cute pets. The children are cute too!
My husband, David, is a senior development manager for Fidelity Investments. The next time you receive updates on your retirement portfolio, you can thank a developer. We are building a home and are planning to close at the end of this month. We are very excited about having more space and land.
My oldest child will be a senior in high school this year. It is ironic that his graduating class will be 2007, the same year as our reunion. However, I won't be able to make it, most likely, because school begins in August here in Texas, and I have lots to do to see my first born off to college for the first time. I would love to see everyone, though; this is a bit disappointing.
My youngest son, Austin, aspires to be an actor and live in NYC, attending college and waiting tables, typical of NY actors. He is quite the character at age ten.

Time to do this again??? It's been a fast ten this time- with many changes. Denise (Mikels) and I have now been maried 11 years. Our son, Tyler, is 7, and daughter Courtney is 5. We love the ocean and beach- been going to Old Orchard Beach in Maine for many years. We have a few acres in Newark Valley that we enjoy with a couple horses, and a few motorized toys. These days, it's all about the family! I gave up my construction business when Tyler was born to get away from that rat race. We all know this area isn't what it once was in the business world. I went back into the CellularCommunications field- and work for CellXion out of Bossier City, LA. I am the Northeast regional sales rep and travel from Maine to Maryland to Ohio on a regular basis, selling communication shelters and towers to the wireless industry. I still see Dean, Tom and Wendy regularly, run across a few others now and then, but am amazed at how much time has passed! I am looking forward to playing a whole lot more, and working a whole lot less. That's the plan anyway..... Looking forward to seeing you!

Life is awesome! I have been living here in Charleston SC, since November of 1988. I was married in 1995, have a wonderful little girl, Molly now 11, got divorced in May of 2000, and am currently dating a girl, who moved here from New Jersey, very seriously. I have an amazing job/career in outside sales with an industrial hydraulics company here in Charleston. I've been with the company for almost 12 years now and still enjoy going to work every day. Most importantly, I have really grabbed a hold of the Christian faith in the past 3 years. I am very active in a large local church here in Charleston, volunteering in the children's ministry, leading a men's small group, coaching individuals to be small group leaders, and I am also on the men's leadership team, helping to cooridnate and plan ministry events. I haven't lived through a snowy winter in over 19 years! Summer here in South Carolina is totally awesome, it pretty much starts in April, and goes to the beginning of October. That is a lot of boating weather!!! I am really looking forward to seeing all of my 1987 classmates! "Go Cardinals!!"

Since graduating, Ken has received his BS in Marketing, MS in Human Resources, and Professional Human Resources Certification, and served about five years as the Assistant Dean of Admissions for the University of Scranton.

Ken in 2007:

Amazingly enough, 1987 seems like yesterday and at the same time seems like a lifetime ago. Since 1997, I've had an entertaining career. I ran Junior Achievement of Northeastern PA until 2000 then left the comfort of the non-profit world to become an entrepreneur starting a firm calledCollegeRecruiting.com, now Futureconnect.org. I traveled the country raising capital while also speaking to parents and students about how to choose a college and how to work through the athletic recruiting process. In 2003, itwas time for another career change and I now work for two non-profits called the Great Valley Technology Alliance and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Technology Institute, essentially we facilitate technology based economic development strengthening our region, promoting entrepreneurship and encouraging faculty members from our thirteen colleges and universities to either license technology or create new companies. I coordinate the Lackawanna and Luzerne County Keystone Innovation Zones for the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, sit on a number of start up firm's advisory boards and am actively involved in regional and statewide initiatives including our young professionals group called POWER!, Wall Street West, WIRED, the United Way of Lackawanna County and Junior Achievement of Northeastern PA.

I have two girls Grace (6) and Emily (11). We spend most of our time bouncing (no pun intended) between basketball, soccer, golf, dance and piano. I've been fortunate enough to coach both of their soccer and basketball teams. I live in Clarks Summit, PA with my wife Kim. As for other activities, I ran mini and sprint triathlons for five years, continue to play basketball, enjoy fly fishing, and love to get out on the golf course with my girls.

Probably the strangest thing I've done since 1997 was facilitate a new slogan/logo campaign for the city of Scranton. The logo never stuck but the slogan: Scranton Welcomes You, Embracing Our People, Our Traditions and Our Future, was placed on signs entering the city. For the past couple years, the sign could be seen on the introduction of the hit TV series the "the Office".

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the reunion on August 11 but would enjoy following up with everyone. Feel free to contact me at kokrepkie@greatvalleyalliance.com .

Kellie in 1997:
Kellie is a medical transcriptionist at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY, and works per diem for some of the doctors when they need extra transcription help. Her stepson Brandon and son Jack keep Kellie and her husband Gregory quite busy. They love playing sports, so she goes to a lot of their games. Basketball's her favorite.

Kellie in 2007:
I am now doing medical transcription from my home for a company based in Franklin, Tennessee. I have been working from home since my son, Sean, who is now 8 years old, was born. He goes to NV and is in 3rd grade. My other son, Jack, is now 20 and graduated 3 years ago from NV. He went to SUNY Delhi, and is now an electrician in Binghamton. I just put in a new bigger house this summer and am still decorating all my new space! I still love to watch my kids play sports. Sean has played basketball and baseball, but he really likes skateboarding. It doesn't matter much to me what he does as long as I get to be there to see it all!

We have a 5 year old daughter, Lauren and are expecting our second baby in May. I have been managing stores for Kohls now for several years, mostly 20 million in annual sales volume, so my life is pretty busy. I still keep in touch with Kelly Lawas, Jill Adomiak, and Kristy Masters and enjoy seeing other classmates when i am home for visits. The best part about this reunion so far has been reconnecting with Ian and I am looking forward to reconnecting with so many other classmates in the near future.

She received a bachelors degree in music from the Hart School of Music, and a Master of Arts in Music from Yale Divinity School. She then served as Director of Music for the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and was Director of Music for two congregations. Dani currently works as a music and history teacher at the Fellowship Christian Church and School, where she also has the job of choir and symphony director. Spending time with her family, husband David and daughter Kassandra (Kasey) is a number one priority.

Favorite memory: Chorus with Mrs. Griffith and band with "Sir".

Danielle in 2007: Since the last update, my husband Dave and I have added two more children. Kasey is now 10 1/2 and will be starting 6th grade in August. Joshua is 4 and will be going to preschool in September. Nathalie is 2 1/2 and comes to work with me. I am the music director at The Congregational Church of Windsor Locks which is affiliated with The Evangelical Free Church of America. It is a great church at which to work and worship and I have been fortunate to be able to bring all my children with me when they were too young to attend school. We have a strong focus on discipling people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and then on to serving the community and this carries over into the music ministry as well. I have choirs for the cherubs (Pre-K and K), the children (1st -5th), youth (6th - 12th), adults, and a praise team which has both instrumentalists and vocalists. Dave still works for the fire department at The University of Connecticut. Kasey is a competitive Irish step dancer and at the moment is ranked 10th in New England for her age group. I won't be able to attend the reunion as Kasey and I will be at Broome Community College on the 18th for a feis (Irish step dance competition) and I can't make the trip two weeks in a row. Any thoughts on changing the reunion date to accomodate!?! All our best to everyone and anytime anyone wants to head over to Tolland, CT or visit UCONN, let us know.
